How To Get Prepared For Your Power Hour

Since time is money, I want you to make the most out of your time. Here’s a short list of recommendations to help you prepare:

  1. Set clear coals to stay focused and maximize the session’s effectiveness.  Before the power hour, identify specific objectives or topics you want to discuss or receive guidance on. 

  2. Prepare Questions: Jot down a list of questions or areas of concern you’d like to address. 

  3. Gather Relevant Materials: If you have any documents, reports, or relevant information related to the topics you want to discuss, have them easily accessible.

  4. Have a Notepad and Pen: Be prepared to notes on key insights, recommendations, or action items that arise.

  5. Clear Distractions: Find a quiet and distraction-free environment for the duration of the power hour. Minimize interruptions and put your phone on silent.

  6. Be Open and Engaged: Approach the power hour with an open mind and a willingness to share your thoughts, provide context, engage in discussions, and be vulnerable.

  7. Time Management: Be mindful of time during the session. Allocate appropriate amounts of time to each topic or question, allowing for a well-paced and comprehensive discussion within the hour.

  8. Bring Positive Energy: Approach the power hour with a positive and proactive mindset. Stay engaged, ask follow-up questions, and be open to receiving feedback and suggestions.
